In-house translation project manager, translator and proofreader for a translation company in Barcelona (2006).

Freelance translator since 2006; living in Spain since 1997.

In addition to my translation academic background and work as a freelance translator, I have worked approximately nine years in different sectors. This valuable experience allowed me to acquire knowledge of business in general and of a variety of areas, e.g. telecommunications and electricity networks.

Thanks to many years living abroad and working in international environments in Spain, Ireland and other countries, I have been exposed to many languages and their cultures—a must for any translator who needs to be able to detect the small cultural differences in texts and in language. 

Not only have I lived abroad since completing my university studies, but I also continue to improve my language, translation and editing skills in order to keep up-to-date and to offer customers a professional and efficient translation service.
